Abstract
Fragmented commissioning, workforce shortages and inconsistent skill mix continue to limit the impact of SCPHN school nursing. Melanie Hayward outlines why renewed Healthy Child Programme guidance matters, and how NASNA and SAPHNA aim to build a shared evidence base to support sustainable school nursing services.
